Joint SRTG Trade Lead Service

Welcome to the Trade Lead Service from the State Regional Trade Groups (SRTGs).

The SRTGs are non-profit organizations which partner with and are supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA/FAS).  SRTGs assist U.S. companies with creating and expanding export markets for U.S. value-added food and agricultural products.

International buyers often request assistance with finding suppliers of U.S. products and the trade lead service is designed for USDA/FAS to share those trade leads with the SRTGs.  The trade lead form below has been created solely for the use of USDA/Foreign Agriculture Service Posts. Please do not share this link with individual buyers.

Upon submission by FAS Post of a vetted trade lead, the lead will be sent to all four SRTGs which in turn share them with matching suppliers in their regions.  Individual U.S. suppliers will respond directly to the lead should they be interested.

The FAS staff who submitted the trade lead will be copied in the email to the buyer upon processing of the lead. Important Note:  We have experienced undelivered or bounced back emails to FAS staff who use their @state.gov addresses so please indicate your @usda.gov email address. We think this has something to do with the security parameters of the Embassy information system that are out of our control.

In addition, when a required field in the Trade Lead Form is not filled in, you won’t be able to submit the lead and there is a message that appears letting you know about the missing information. We have been advised that this message does not appear to some users, who don’t see any of the error messages and the page won’t go anywhere after hitting submit. If you get in a similar situation, please review and ensure that all fields marked with (Required) contain data.

Please elaborate on all products submitted to better serve your Buyer and our U.S. Suppliers.
